Psychosocial assessments are comprehensive evaluations designed to examine an individual’s emotional, mental, social, behavioral, and environmental functioning to better understand current needs and support overall wellness. These assessments may assist in determining appropriate recommendations for counseling services, psychiatric referrals, educational or career support, and additional therapeutic resources. Psychosocial assessments are commonly requested by agencies, organizations, schools, and other service providers as part of treatment planning and service coordination.
